About IWPS
International Weight Pull Society is a weight pull organization for dogs, founded in 2026. The society is run by active competitors and has members in Sweden and Norway. The goals are simple: safe events, clear rules, and dogs that are well looked after.
The sport is about how much weight a dog can pull relative to its own body weight — what we call pull-for-pound (P4P). We compete on three surfaces: dirt, mat and rails.
